Meet MAP’s PNG-based team specialising in programme governance, government liaison, project delivery, stakeholder engagement and security coordination.
John leads strategic coordination, PMU oversight, executive reporting, project systems and partner-facing delivery. He previously served as Executive Director, Corporate for the APEC PNG 2018 Authority, with responsibility for corporate governance, cross-agency coordination, partner management and executive reporting during Papua New Guinea’s hosting of APEC 2018. John continues to advise leaders in PNG in Government and in the private sector on proactive, meaningful engagements in Papua New Guinea.
John Young
Dixie Pombe
Dixie leads provincial operations, stakeholder engagement and field mobilisation. He supports coordination between provincial administrations, communities, delivery partners and project teams, with a focus on practical implementation and resolving issues at the operating level. He has delivered complex community engagements with large resource companies in PNG for over a decade.
Alan leads project delivery coordination, commercial follow-up and implementation tracking. His focus is maintaining momentum across active opportunities, coordinating delivery parties and ensuring that agreed actions, project requirements and commercial matters are followed through. Alan brings a wealth of sports management experience from the PNG Hunters, PNGRFL and other PNG sporting bodies.

Jerry Geno
Jerry supports national agency engagement, security coordination, risk management and field movement planning. His experience includes coordinating domestic and international security functions for APEC PNG 2018 through the Joint Security Task Force and its PNG and international security partners.
Pedro Oroa
Pedro leads government and provincial engagement, strategic project development and senior counterparty liaison. He supports clients to clarify priorities, engage the appropriate agencies and partners and maintain practical follow-through across government-facing workstreams.
